Ex Cadets Reunion on the Gold Coast Posted: Monday, March 17, 2014

Association officials have acceded to requests from Southern Queensland members for a get together on the Gold Coast in late May.

Secretary, Ian Moore who is putting the function together said the gathering will be held at the Burleigh Heads S.L.S.C. Cnr. Goodwin Terrace & Gold Coast Hwy, Burleigh Heads Qld , on Friday 30th May, 2014 commencing at 12:00 midday.

A barbecue lunch has been arranged for around 1:00pm-1:30pm with a cost of $55 per head, which will include lunch & drinks. No exceptions.

Dress neat casual. (also, see standards below)

You must pay up front to confirm numbers and you can do this electronically by transferring the $55 into Ex Police Cadets Assoc. of NSW, Police Bank account, number 241807s1. (If paying from another outside Bank, leave off the s1). Please sure you put your name for identification of payment. A

lternatively, if paying by cheque or money order, make payable to Ex Police Cadets Assoc. of NSW.  Post it to Ian Moore, POB 323 Gymea NSW, 2227.Again, please ensure you include your details with payment. He does not want any phantoms attending!

Payment is required by 24thMay, no later than one week prior to date of function.

The president, Steve(The Moth) Mathews and some members of the committee will be attending, so look sharp.

To conform with normal cadet standards, hair should be cut short and trimmed and trousers pressed.

A further reunion of cadets recruited in the months of August and November 1964 will take place at the City of Sydney RSL on Friday 3 October 2014, commencing at 12:00 midday.  A special guest is being encouraged to attend.
