MINUTES OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE EX POLICE
CADETS ASSOCIATION OF N.S.W. HELD ON MONDAY 27TH JULY, 2009AT THE CITY OF SYDNEY R.S.L. GEORGE STREET, SYDNEY.

Meeting commenced: 12md.

Business:
President: Mr Rick Delmonte sent a letter to the AGM outlining
circumstances beyond his control for not being able to attend the meeting.
Mr Barry Leaney presided as President with sanction of the members present in Mr Delmonte’s absence.
Mr Delmonte’s letter read to the meeting by Acting Secretary Ian Moore.
It was moved by Mr Steve Matthews and Seconded by Mr Don Kell that the
Letter be received and noted. Filed.

Treasurer’s Report read by A/Secretary Ian Moore. Copy attached.
Moved by Mr John Seward and Seconded by Mr Andy Holland that the report
be received. All in favour.

Accounts to be paid. Ian Moore $134-99 for payment to MD Webhostingfor Police Cadet Website of $24-99.
Ian Moore to be paid $110 for postage of letters to members advising of
A.G.M.
Moved by Don Kell, Seconded by John Seward that payment be made to Ian
Moore. Total $134-99. All in favour.
The amount of $150-00 be paid to Police Credit Union.

GENERAL BUSINESS:
* Moved by Ian Granland and Seconded by Bruce Gibson – Incoming
Committee to look at having some sort of function at the Old Police Training
Centre. Further enquiries to be made at that centre which is now partly Commercial /Private as to the practicality of such a function. Costs etc.

* Form 12 to be submitted. (Dept of Fair Trading) re Association.

* Discussion on having Trainees 1975 – 1977 when the Cadet System finished, to join Association. Thought to be premature at this stage.

* New Committee to have discussion at next Meeting re Function to be held this year possibly around October, 2009.

Next Committee Meeting set down for Tuesday 25th August, 2009 at
12md at the City of Sydney RSL, Level 2.
